Abiodun urged the Independent National Electoral Commission to be sincere and ensure a democratic process.
“My advice is that the process should be democratic. They should not try to rig the election.

At his own poling unit, former governor of Ogun State, Gbenga Daniel , urged governorship candidates in the state to accept the outcome of the election in good faith.
Daniel, who spoke with newsmen shortly after casting his vote at Ward 12 Unit 7 Polling Centre in Isote area of Sagamu Local Government Area of the state, appealed to the candidates to accept defeat for the development of the state.
The former governor stressed that the expectation of the people from the incoming government was high.
He said: ” With what I have seen, people have come out in large numbers to vote and people are full of expectations.
“I have also voted and I am also full of expectations.
