Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has awarded N10 million to Olaniyi Mubaraq, the overall best-graduating student of Lagos State University (LASU).
The announcement was made during the grand finale of LASU’s 27th convocation ceremony on Thursday, June 6.
Mubaraq, who graduated from the Department of Accounting Education with a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 4.98 that earned him the top spot, received the substantial cash gift in recognition of his outstanding academic achievements.
