Super Eagles’ striker, Victor Osimhen, has poured venom on embattled former senior national team handler, Finidi George, over his comments after the disgraceful run in the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.
The forward, in a no holds barred live feed on Facebook, declared on Saturday that he had lost respect for George.
Osimhen said this stemmed from his feeding the press with wrong information about him after Nigeria lost to Benin Republic in Côte d’Ivoire in a 2026 World Cup qualifying match.
The livid SSC Napoli striker in the post said in a mixture of English and pidgin: “The respect that I have for that man I don lose am now.
“All these things, I get am for video.
“I tell am that he should allow me come to camp and talk to the boys.
“He said no.
“That I should be with the family.
“Team don lose now, una no see who to blame, but nah me Osimhen.
“Una no go die better.
“Una no find person wey dey at fault, nah me wey dey nurse my injury.
“Nah me una think say una put my name because Super Eagles get two bad games.
“You (Finidi) come dey talk say you can’t beg.
“Who dey beg who?
“Who come see me when we play 4-4 against Sierra Leone?
“When my nerves dey damaged?
