The Ogun State Coordinator.of the Buhari Osinbajo Strategic Solidarity Movement, Otunba Adewale Adenaike has described the election of Prince Dapo Abiodun of the All Progressives Congress as next governor of Ogun State, as a victory for all indigenes both at home and in the Diaspora.
He said that Abiodun’s victory has ushered in a dawn in Ogun and Nigerian politics.
In his congratulatory message to the governor-elect, front line Ogun politician, former governorship aspirant in the state, said that the outcome of the election was a manifestation of the wishes of the people of Ogun State, majority of whom voted for the candidate who they believed was the best to move the state forward.
Adenaike restated his confidence in the preparedness of governor-elect, Dapo Abiodun to deliver the dividends of democracy all residents and people of Ogun State in line with his manifesto.
While urging Abiodun to be magnanimous in victory, Adenaike also enjoined candidates of other political parties who contested the gubernatorial election in the state to put aside partisanship and join hands with in in-coming governor to deliver excellent results in all spheres of governance.
