Senate President Bukola Saraki says Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State and his Zamfara State counterpart, Abdul’Aziz Yari, are now beginning to feel the pains which come with being a member of the All Progressives Congress.
The Senate President was heard saying this in an audio clip while addressing the Peoples Democratic Party members recently.
The audio was first posted by blogger, Kayode Ogundamisi, on his official Twitter handle.
Both Amosun and Yari have been having issues with the national leadership of the APC after failing to install their preferred candidates.
Recalling how he was deceived into joining the party, he said, “I remember when they were begging me. See Amosun. Look at where they are today. Yari in Zamfara see where they are today and so on. And that is why by God’s grace, the next government will be ours.
All we did there ended up in a loss but what we are seeing now will be a good one and when our own government comes in, go and rest. It is just about five months left.”
