Ogun East Senate: Odogbolu Igbo community pledges support for Adewale Adenaike

The Igbo Community in Odogbolu LG have pledged their support for Engr. Adewale Adenaike’s emergence as the next Senator of Ogun East Senatorial District.

This was made known today, 29 January 2023, when Otunba Adenaike’s Campaign Team paid a courtesy visit to the Igbo Community in Odogbolu.

In his address, Otunba Adenaike stressed the importance of community integration without neglecting our diversity. “There’s so much strength in our diverse uniqueness, which can be harnessed for the development of our nation” He thanked the Community for adding value and maintaining peace in the area and promised to be available and responsive to their yearnings.

Deacon Charles Idoko, the President General of Igbo Community, pledged the full loyalty of all Igbos in the Local Government for the emergence of Otunba Adenaike. “You’re an unusual politician with impeccable pedigree, with you at the Red Chamber, we’re sure of Responsible People-Driven Representation. We assure you of our block votes”.

He expressed satisfaction with the precision of timekeeping and humility displayed by Otunba Adenaike. He promised to involve other ethnic communities in the are.

Adenaike is contesting the seat on the platform of the Social Democratic Party (SDP).
