Three persons were feared dead in the Aguda area of Lagos State as the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party for the 2023 polls, Dr. Abdulaziz Adeniran, popularly known as Jandor, attended the Jumat service on Friday at Aguda Central Mosque.
A video circulating online showed men with guns and machetes firing shots and attacking others suspected to be political rivals.
The men, operating in a Toyota Sienna bus with the colour of the PDP, were seen shooting and moving around with machetes and axes.
Sources in the area said no fewer than three persons were feared dead in the ensuing melee in the area.
Owners of shops quickly shit down for fear, while residents shut themselves in.
