A former Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has reportedly been flown to a hospital in London following a serious health crisis.

According to reports quoting sources close to the family, the former governor was flown out of the country a few days ago as his condition deteriorated.
He is said to be receiving emergency medical attention from a team of top specialists in the UK capital.
While the full details of the health issue remain unclear, the situation has sparked widespread concern, especially among his political allies, associates, and supporters nationwide.
Ganduje, a prominent figure in Nigeria’s political landscape, served as Governor of Kano State from 2015 to 2023, and until recently the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Calls for prayers and well-wishes have poured in from both supporters and critics alike, with many urging Nigerians to put politics aside and show compassion during this critical time.
“As a nation, we must rise above political divides and pray for his swift recovery,” a senior APC member revealed.
