
Transcorp Power Plc, a leading subsidiary of Nigeria’s foremost listed conglomerate, Transnational Corporation Plc has released its unaudited financial results for the third quarter ending September 30, 2025, showcasing robust growth across key indicators.

The company’s revenue surged by 38 percent year-on-year, reaching N308.5 billion in Q3 2025 compared to N223.5 billion during the same period in 2024. This significant increase was driven by higher average power generation, a direct result of Transcorp Power’s strategic investments in expanding generation capacity and enhancing operational efficiency.
Gross profit climbed to N119.7 billion, representing a 24 percent uplift from N96.5 billion in Q3 2024, with a gross margin of 38.8 percent.
Profit before tax saw a notable rise of 12.4 percent, amounting to N91.18 billion compared to N81.12 billion in the previous corresponding quarter. Profit after tax improved by 17 percent, standing at N68.42 billion, up from N58.4 billion in Q3 2024.
Emmanuel Nnorom, Chairman of Transcorp Power Plc, remarked on the company’s resilience and robust performance amid ongoing economic challenges. He emphasized that the results reflect efficient operational strategies and prudent cost management, which have sustained profitability and will strengthen investor confidence in the company’s ability to generate shared value and maintain its growth momentum.
