President Bola Tinubu has ended his working vacation in Europe and departed Paris, France, for Nigeria, with his aircraft expected to land at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, later today.

Tinubu left Abuja on August 30 and spent about a month abroad, first in London before proceeding to Paris, where he held a series of private and business engagements.
The Presidency said the President opted to return through Lagos to honour the memory of the late Chief Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola, widely regarded as the winner of the June 12, 1993 presidential election.
Tinubu is expected to attend the premiere of a movie celebrating Abiola on Independence Day at the Wole Soyinka National Theatre, Iganmu, Lagos.
According to a statement issued on Tuesday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President will also use his stay in Lagos to hold strategic meetings with political leaders and associates ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The meetings are expected to continue for several days before Tinubu returns to Abuja.
During his stay in Paris, the President attended a private dinner with French President Emmanuel Macron and held meetings with prominent business figures.
Among those he met was Vincent Bolloré of the Bolloré Group, whose interests include media and digital businesses such as Canal+, MultiChoice and Universal Music Group.
Tinubu also met the Chairman of First Holdings, Femi Otedola, on Monday.
The President’s European trip also featured a major investment development involving Ogun State.
Last week, he witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ogun State Government and global ports and logistics operator, DP World, for the development of a deep seaport in Ogun Waterside and a Blue Marine Economic Zone.
DP World plans to invest $7 billion in the proposed seaport and economic zone.
The Presidency said Tinubu would return to Abuja after completing his political engagements in Lagos.
