Manchester United are set to make a stunning offer for Victor Osimhen.

The Red Devils’ proposal will involve a cash-plus-player deal to sign the Nigeria international from Napoli.

The deal would see United forward Joshua Zirkzee move in the opposite direction this summer.

Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the Super Eagles striker is a target for the Red Devils after he turned down a lucrative offer to join Al Hilal.

The Red Devils, who are in desperate need of a striker, view the Napoli star as the ideal player to spearhead their attack in the coming season.

Napoli are open to selling Osimhen to any interested club that meets their asking price of €75 million and have already received offers from Galatasaray and Al Hilal.

Osimhen, who spent the 2024/25 season on loan at Galatasaray, is keen to remain in Europe.

Despite Napoli having reached an agreement with Al Hilal, the Nigerian striker officially rejected their fifth offer earlier this week.

Rúben Amorim’s side believe they can make the deal happen by offering Zirkzee, who has just completed a season at Old Trafford.

Manchester United and Napoli enjoy a good relationship, with the Red Devils allowing Scott McTominay to join the Italian champions for £25.7 million last summer.
