Stefanie Kim Ladewig, the eight-month pregnant girlfriend of Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen, has escaped injury following a three-vehicle accident in Istanbul, Türkiye.
According to reports, Ladewig, 26, was taken to a private hospital for precautionary medical examinations because of her pregnancy but was later discharged after doctors confirmed she was in good condition.
Türkiye Today reported the incident on Wednesday, citing the Demirören News Agency (DHA).
The accident reportedly occurred at about 3:10 p.m. on Tuesday in the Mithatpasa neighbourhood of Kemerburgaz, within Istanbul’s Eyupsultan district.
According to DHA, Ladewig was driving an SUV when she approached a bend and collided with a light commercial vehicle driven by a person identified as Paris T.
The impact reportedly caused her to lose control of the vehicle, which then crashed into another SUV travelling in the opposite direction.
The collision involved three vehicles, all of which sustained damage. However, no injuries were reported at the scene.
Following the accident, Ladewig went to a private hospital in the Maslak area of Istanbul’s Sariyer district for medical checks due to her advanced pregnancy.
She was subsequently discharged after undergoing the necessary examinations.
Ladewig, who was born in Berlin, Germany, works as a model and regularly shares fashion and beauty content on social media.
Her partner, Osimhen, 27, is one of Nigeria’s leading footballers and currently plays for Turkish club Galatasaray. The striker also represents the Super Eagles at international level.
