Cori Broadus, the daughter of Calvin Broadus popularly known as Snoop Dogg, the US rapper, is battling with a “severe stroke” at the age of 24.
Stroke is a life-threatening medical condition that occurs when the blood supply to part of the brain is cut off.
The main symptoms of the condition can affect the face, arms, and a person’s speech.
Broadus took to Instagram on Thursday to share pictures of herself on the hospital bed.
In the caption, she wrote, “I had a severe stroke this am. I started breaking down crying when they told me. Like I am only 24. What did I do in my past to deserve all of this”.
Broadus is an entrepreneur and singer, who performs under the name CHOC.
She is one of three children the US rapper shares with Shante Taylor, his wife.
Snoop Dogg shot to fame in the 1990s as a central figure in the West Coast hip-hop scene and gangsta rap subgenre.
He has released hits including ‘Gin And Juice’ and ‘Drop It Like It’s Hot’.
Over the years, he has transformed into a multifaceted entertainer, leaving his mark on music, film, and television.
