Delta APC chieftain, Cairo Ojougboh dies watching Nigeria AFCON match

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State, Chief Cairo Ojougboh is dead.

Ojougboh, who is a former Executive Director, Projects, Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), collapsed and died while watching the AFCON between Nigeria and South Africa.

Sources told our correspondent that the politician was pronounced dead at a hospital he was rushed to after suffering what was described as a heart attack.

He was said to have screamed and collapsed when the referee that handled the match between the Super Eagles and the Bafana Bafana of South Africa awarded a penalty kick against Nigeria.

The deceased hailed from Agbor in Delta North area of Delta State.
