The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed the killing of nine suspected kidnappers in the Ladipo area of the state.

It was gathered that the kidnappers were attempting to abduct someone on Thursday when the police foiled their operation.

Confirming the development, the state Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, noted that the suspects were killed during a gun duel with the police.
