NOVA Bank has reached a significant milestone in its mission to safeguard customer data and digital operations, earning the prestigious ISO 27032 Cybersecurity Standard certification. This achievement solidifies the Bank’s position as one of Nigeria’s leading financial institutions, demonstrating its commitment to advanced security measures in an increasingly complex cyber landscape.

The ISO 27032 certification focuses on enhancing cybersecurity, protecting data, systems, and online transactions against emerging threats. This latest recognition complements NOVA Bank’s existing certifications in ISO 27001 for Information Security Management and BCMS 22301 for Business Continuity Management, showcasing its dedication to operational resilience and security excellence.

“This certification reflects NOVA Bank’s unwavering commitment to maintaining global standards in cybersecurity,” she stated. “As we innovate with customer-focused retail products, cybersecurity remains central to our operations. Our customers can trust that their data and transactions are safeguarded by some of the industry’s most advanced frameworks. At NOVA, security and trust go hand in hand, ensuring a reliable and innovative banking experience.”

“The ISO 27032 certification underscores our proactive approach to cybersecurity,” said Dr. Isavwe. “It signifies NOVA Bank’s readiness to tackle evolving digital threats while delivering secure and uninterrupted services. This achievement not only reassures our customers but also raises the bar for cybersecurity across the financial sector.”

This milestone aligns with NOVA Bank’s strategic vision of integrating advanced technology with its signature Phygital model, which seamlessly combines physical and digital banking. As the Bank prepares to roll out innovative retail banking solutions, the certification reinforces its commitment to prioritizing cybersecurity and delivering a secure, seamless customer experience.
