A former director general of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Maharazu Tsiga has been abducted by bandits in Bakori local government area of Katsina state.

Tsiga, a retired major general, was reportedly kidnapped alongside 12 other residents of Tsiga village. The incident occurred around midnight on Wednesday according to initial reports
