The Saudi Arabian government has approved the transportation of the body of late prominent business man and philanthropist, Alhaji Aminu Alhassan Dantata, from Abu Dhabi to the holy city of Madina for his final rites.

Alhaji Mustapha Abdullahi Junaidu, the Private Principal Secretary to the late Dantata, announced this in a Facebook post on Sunday.

The family had earlier disclosed that the late industrialist would be buried in Madina next to his wife, Rabi’a Dantata, who died in 2023, in accordance with his final wishes.

On Saturday, a special Islamic funeral prayer, Salatul Ga’ib, was held in Kano in honour of the late business magnate.

The prayer session was attended by a large number of mourners, including prominent figures such as the Deputy Senate President, Barau Jibrin.
