This is as the Guild in its condolence message urged the Akinadewo family to take solace in the focused and productive life their late son lived.

The letter read in part: “Washington’s life, though cut short, was a testament to his potential and promise. His impending National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in January 2026, consequent upon his graduation from the University of Lagos, where he studied Information Technology, was a milestone that symbolised his dedication to scholarship and nation-building. His passing is a profound loss to your family, the online publishing community, and the nation at large.
“In this dark hour, we find solace in the memories of Washington’s life, his accomplishments, and the legacy he leaves behind. May these memories bring you comfort and strength, and may the Almighty God grant you, your wife, and loved ones the fortitude to navigate this difficult time”.
