What began as a glamorous night out at the grand opening of a new Abuja nightclub reportedly descended into confusion and confrontation on Friday night after Edo politician Natasha Osawaru allegedly arrived at the venue demanding to see her husband, music star Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba.
The incident, which unfolded at 90s Lounge at Trukadero in Abuja on August 7, has since exploded across social media, with videos showing Natasha dressed entirely in black, surrounded by men outside the club as a visibly tense scene unfolded.
In another video, 2Baba, wearing a bucket hat, is seen emerging from the venue and approaching Natasha before apparently taking her inside.
A subsequent clip shows the couple seated together inside the club.
The dramatic sequence has triggered intense speculation about the state of the couple’s marriage, barely a year after their highly publicised wedding.
How the night reportedly unravelled
According to an eyewitness account circulating online, Natasha arrived at the venue after learning that 2Baba was there for the opening of the lounge.
The singer had reportedly been billed to perform at the event, which was hosted to celebrate the launch of 90s Lounge by musician Chibuzor Orji, popularly known as Faze.
The eyewitness claimed Natasha arrived with an entourage and attempted to gain access to the area where 2Baba was.
According to the account, she was heard insisting that she wanted to see her husband.
“I am your wife,” she allegedly shouted, before adding: “My husband 2Baba is here.”

The source said the group attempted to gain access to the singer and that members of the team initially prevented Natasha from entering.
The account alleged that she was shouting that she wanted to speak to her husband.
The same source reportedly characterised the situation as an attempted abduction of 2Baba.
That is a serious allegation, however, and there is no independent evidence in the available reports establishing that an abduction attempt occurred. It should therefore be treated as an allegation rather than an established fact.
The videos available online appear to show a confrontation outside the venue, but they do not, by themselves, establish the motives or intentions of everyone involved.
Annie’s cryptic post adds another layer
