Nwafor will remain in custody unless she is able to meet the bail conditions granted to her, as the Federal High Court in Lagos adjourned further proceedings in the case until November 8, 2026.
The defendant is facing a three-count charge bordering on conspiracy and alleged cyberstalking of Okoya, the wife of billionaire industrialist, Chief Razaq Okoya.

The case is continuing despite a public apology issued by Nwafor following her arraignment.
According to the prosecution, Nwafor and others, who are still at large, allegedly conspired in June 2026 at the Lekki-Epe Expressway, Lagos, to commit a felony.

The police alleged that the blogger acted with the intention of causing “annoyance, injury, fear, intimidation, enmity and/or needless anxiety” to Okoya.

The prosecution further accused her of participating in the publication of what it described as offensive, false and malicious materials about Okoya on Instagram through the handles @cutie_juis and @truestorieswithifeomafa.

The police also alleged that photographs of Okoya, alongside defamatory materials, were published online.
In another allegation, the prosecution said Nwafor, through the Instagram handle @truestorieswithifeomafans, published a statement that was “derogatory and calculated to invite mockery, ridicule, gossip, suspicion and scandal” against the businesswoman.

The police further alleged that the defendant used an online link to publish photographs of Okoya alongside another statement which it similarly described as derogatory and capable of exposing her to ridicule, suspicion and scandal.

The charges were brought under Sections 516 and 24(2)(1)(a) and (b) of the Cybercrime (Prohibition, Prevention, etc.) Act, 2015.

The allegations against Nwafor are yet to be determined by the court.
The court adjourned the matter until November 8 for further proceedings.
