Guaranty Trust Bank Ltd (GTBank), the flagship banking subsidiary of Guaranty Trust Holding Company Plc (GTCO), has announced that customers can now add their GTBank debit cards to Google Wallet and pay with Google Pay for secure online transactions locally and internationally.
With the new feature, customers no longer need to repeatedly enter their card details at checkout. They simply add their GTBank debit card to Google Wallet once, select Google Pay at checkout, and confirm payment.
The service covers everyday online transactions including subscriptions, flight and hotel bookings, food orders, purchase of goods and services, bill payments, membership renewals and access to digital services. Available across multiple countries and regions worldwide, Google Pay offers a widely accepted digital payment solution.
According to the bank, security remains central to the experience. Google Pay incorporates security features designed to help protect customers’ payment information during online transactions, giving users greater confidence and peace of mind.
