The Guild of Corporate Online Publishers (GOCOP) has announced that Dr. Ike Neliaku, President of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), will serve as the reviewer of its forthcoming book scheduled for presentation on Tuesday, June 17, 2025. The event will take place in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Confirming the development, GOCOP President, Maureen Chigbo, stated that the book, titled Nigeria Media Renaissance: GOCOP Perspectives on Online Publishing, will be unveiled during a high-profile ceremony chaired by the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Alhaji Mohammed Idris Malagi.

In a press statement, GOCOP Publicity Secretary, Ogbuefi Remmy Nweke, provided further details, noting that the presentation is slated for 10:00 a.m. at the Ladi Kwali Hall, Abuja Continental Hotel, Wuse Zone 4, FCT. The event is expected to draw prominent figures from the media, public relations, government, and business communities.
Beyond the book launch, the event will also serve as a fundraiser in support of the proposed N2.3 billion GOCOP Media Centre. According to Nweke, the planned facility will house a modern secretariat, a 21st-century digital library, and state-of-the-art event halls, all aimed at enhancing capacity building and professionalism in Nigeria’s growing online media industry.
Dr. Neliaku, who will review the book, is widely recognized as a leading authority in public relations, an accomplished author, and an engaging public speaker.
