“However, an adult female has been rescued alive in stable condition as the state emergency response fully activated.”

The incident adds to the growing list of building collapses in Lagos.

In November, an elderly woman was killed in a partial collapse of a two-storey building in Oloto street, Ebute Metta.

In September, a building with over 500 rooms collapsed in the Ketu area of the state, injuring two residents.

The building, initially built as a school but converted to a residential apartment, partially collapsed during heavy rainfall.
