The candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the Ondo State governorship election, incumbent governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has won in all the 13 local governments with results released.
Results from five more local governments are being awaited.
They are Akure North, Okitipupa, Odigbo, Ilaje and Eseodo.
Vice Chancellor of the Federal University, Lokoja, Kogi State, who is the State Returning Officer for the election, Prof. Olayemi Akinwumi, announced a break after which the remaining results would be announced.
The collation was started at about 12.00 a.m. on Sunday.
His words: “We have five more local governments, but we are going to take our recess now until 5 a.m. to receive some results from Akure North, Okitipupa and Odigbo, then Ilaje and Eseodo.”
