A post announcing 2Baba’s split from his wife Annie Idibia on his Instagram page has been deleted minutes after publication.
The now-deleted post revealed that the couple had been separated for a while and were currently filing for divorce.
It expressed 2Baba’s intention to share his side of the story, stating that he wants his fans to know the truth about his situation.

“W”ELL THIS THING I HAVE TO SAY IS SHORT BUT ALSO LONG…. I AND ANNIE MACAULAY HAVE BEEN SEPARATED FOR A WHILE NOW. AND CURRENTLY FILED DIVORCE… I WOULD GRANT A PRESS RELEASE SOON TO SAY MY STORY.

Minutes after the post was deleted, 2Baba claimed that his Instagram account was hacked.
“My Instagram account has been hacked, efforts are being carried out to take back control #onelove!” Idibia wrote in another post.
The sudden revelation has raised eyebrows on social media, leaving fans wondering if there’s more to the story.
This isn’t the first time the couple’s marriage has faced public scrutiny.
In 2021, Annie publicly called out 2Baba for his alleged infidelity, accusing him of having an affair with his baby mama, Pero Adeniyi.
2Baba and Annie tied the knot in May 2012.
They have had two children, named Olivia and Isabella.
2baba had previously been in relationships with Adeniyi and Sumbo Ajala-Adeoye.
While Adeniyi has three children for 2Baba, Sumbo shares two kids with the singer.
